Welcome to the website for Valley Center Planning Group. Here you can easily find out what is going on, what's happened and what future plans are in the works.

The role of the planning group is to review and research various planning projects, land development, code compliance and building projects to ensure they meet the general plan requirements then makes recommendations to the County of San Diego. Planning group members are not County officials. They are advisers to the administrators of the County of San Diego. In other words the Planning Group has no authority to make any decisions, simply make recommendations.

The group welcomes and listens to public opinion at the monthly meetings. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the basement of the Community Hall located at 28246 Lilac Road, next door to the fire station.
